What better backdrop to inspire, design and make?

I like to make individual items for individuals. Mass production has its place, but lacks personal connection. I aspire to provide quality, craftsmanship<s>,</s> novelty, for those who wish to bring something unique with a known history into their homes.

My work involves many woods from trees you will recognise on a day out to the countryside or a walk in the park and those from far-flung lands which lend something very special to the end piece. Attention to detail and a real care about the outcome are very important to me, and, I believe, my customers.

I am fascinated by both Shaker and Arts & Crafts furniture so I make pieces in these styles. Additionally, I create a selection of kitchen utensils and gifts.

Oak hall stand

I am a member of The Makers’ Guild in Wales (https://www.makersguildinwales.org.uk/), an association of craftspeople from all disciplines, whose aim is to promote “craft” and the “arts” to the people of Wales (and beyond, of course!).
